Successful firing of the 40mm CIS AGL Retrofit Kit

f l o r o  has successfully installed, tested, and fired, the CIS 40mm AGL from within the V300 Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) 1-meter turret.  Using a retrofit kit the Company developed, the V300 can now be equipped  with either a 7.62mm/40mm gun combination or a .50 Caliber/40mm combination.

"The retrofit of the 40mm AGL provides the V300 with a remarkable increase in firepower that ordinary machine guns can not match", says Pancho E. De Los Santos, spokesman for Floro International.  "When coupled with the 40mm HV cannister ammunition which we are developing, the V300 weapons system is more appropriate for the combat conditions in our country".

The 40mm CIS AGL Retrofit Kit is also being installed on V150 LAVs in the Philippines.
