The expended cartridge case is ejected automatically, leaving the chamber ready to receive the next round. Benefits of the Upgrade Kit The firepower of the pack howitzer is increased dramatically and crew safety is improved. o The higher rate of fire at 6-8 rounds per minute (existing is 3-4 rounds per minute). o Reduced physical strain on the gun crew (no need to open breech manually).
