Services We Provide
f l o r o 's retail division is involved in the distribution and sale
of industrial products, consumer products and services.
In cooperation with the f l o r o affiliates, the group the
operates over 30 retail stores in Luzon, Cebu, and Mindanao
islands. f l o r o offers reproduction work, plotting services,
identification card services, photofinishing, retail of
engineering supplies, conversion of manual documents into
computer/digital format.
The retail stores are equipped with large capacity and flexible
equipment not found in other copy centers or blue print shops.
Services available include:
Reproduction Work
Reproduction of documents and drawings
such as high volume photocopying, large
format copying, color copying,
whiteprinting, and photofinishing.
Documents as large as 36 inches and in
color are reproduced as well as with
black and white or color photographs
even without negatives.
Micrographic Services
f l o r o 's Micrographics Division assists
its customers by microfilming their records
and other important documents and
processing the exposed microfilm. The
division also offers duplication and editing
services to its clients.
Archive your business records, financial documents, and
engineering or architectural drawings by having them
microfilmed. As much as 2000 documents can be stored on
microfilm roll which has proven to last for more than 30 years.
f l o r o has microfilmed over 150 million documents.
f l o r o 's Microfilm processing adheres to the U.S. archiving
standards with plant facilities located in Tanay, Rizal.
Digitizing Services
The Business Systems Division along with
f l o r o affiliated retail outlets accepts
documents or drawings that need to be
digitized or converted into computer format. The conversion
processes are defined as follows:
Plotting Services
Conversion of manually prepared engineering,
architectural drawings into Computer Aided Design format.
Converted drawings are clearer and allow architects or
engineers to easily make revisions using popular CAD
systems. Work can be effectively stored
on CDs.
Scanning Services
Conversion of documents (up to 36 inches
wide) into computer raster images.
Images (as much as 15,000) can be
stored on CDs which provide an
efficient storage medium requiring less
storage area than filing cabinets or rooms.
Scanning can come from books, paper documents, drawings in
tracing or polyester medium, microfilm rolls, microfiche, or
aperture cards.
Indexing Services
Images derived from scanning can have specific areas encoded
or indexed such as subject, date, name, titles, etc. Once
indexed, images can be viewed easily without the need
to access original documents.
Off site Storage
Storage facilities are available for microfilm, CDs, and paper
documents at its FIC-Tanay processing complex to address
both the local and international market. The storage facilities at
FIC-Tanay include the following features, fireproof and
environment/ climate controlled storage vaults, computerized
stocking and indexing of files for easy retrieval of records,
provided with 24-hour security.
Computer Programming Services
The Alpha Financial Information System is composed of
integrated financial accounting modules that can be enhanced
